Rising Edge adapts Employment Practice Liability Insurance offering to the new UK employment laws

Rising Edge announces today the availability of a new endorsement to its Employment Practices Liability Insurance (“EPLI”), in response to the new UK employment laws.

The proposed new UK employment laws and the regulatory powers envisioned for the new Fair Work Agency are creating potential new liability exposures for UK employers.

The insurance industry responds to new and emerging risks. To that end, Rising Edge is announcing the launch of a policy endorsement to its UK Employment Practice Liability offering, designed to provide UK employers the comfort that their EPLI will continue to respond to the exposures, new and old, that they are facing.

Philippe Gouraud, CEO of Rising Edge, said: “Already faced with concerns about the tax changes, the new legislations are adding further concerns to UK employers. Some of these new rules are actually welcome, but equally they do bring new risks to employers. To make sure our EPL policy fully responds to the new legal context, we are issuing an endorsement that affirms the coverage where needed, and introduces coverage expansion where required.”
